Insulated copper pipe 1/4" + 5/8" – 20 meter roll
This high-quality insulated copper piping is a practical solution for professional air conditioning, refrigeration, and climate control installations. The set consists of 1/4" and 5/8" copper piping with a length of 20 meters. The pipes are manufactured from high-quality, flexible copper and have a constant wall thickness. The 1/4" pipe has a wall thickness of 0.8 mm and the 5/8" pipe has a wall thickness of 1.0 mm. As a result, the pipes offer a solid foundation for professional installation while remaining highly flexible during assembly.
Both copper pipes are equipped with high-quality PE insulation. The insulation thickness is 9 mm for the 1/4" pipe and 10 mm for the 5/8" pipe. The insulation consists of two layers of resilient PE jacket with a closed cell structure on the inside and outside. This construction ensures a high insulation value and helps prevent condensation around the pipe.
The insulation features a sturdy outer wall that provides extra protection during transport and installation. Despite this hard outer wall, the piping remains easy to work with. The insulation is designed to flex without quickly forming creases. As a result, the insulation layer remains intact and the thermal properties are preserved as well as possible.
The inner layer of the insulation is heat-resistant up to 110 °C. With a maximum thermal conductivity of 0.043 W/mK, the insulation offers good thermal protection. This contributes to the efficient operation of air conditioning and refrigeration systems and helps limit unwanted condensation.
The copper cable complies with EN 13501-1 and has fire class BL-s1-d0. The different cables are easily identifiable thanks to the color coding of the protective caps. The 1/4" cable is fitted with a black cap and the 5/8" cable with a yellow cap. This allows the cable sizes to be quickly distinguished from each other during installation.
