The copper pipes are made of high-quality, flexible copper with a constant wall thickness of 0.8 mm. This makes the pipes easy to work with and easy to bend during installation. The combination of 1/4" and 1/2" makes these pipes suitable for various air conditioning and refrigeration applications.
The copper pipes are fitted with high-quality PE insulation all around. The insulation thickness is 9 mm for the 1/4" pipe and 10 mm for the 1/2" pipe. The insulation consists of two layers of resilient PE jacket with a closed cell structure on both the inside and outside. This construction ensures good thermal insulation and helps prevent condensation.
The exterior of the insulation features a hard, white outer wall. This sturdy protective layer helps protect the insulation during transport, installation, and use. At the same time, the piping remains flexible and easy to work with. The insulation can be bent without quickly forming unwanted creases, ensuring that the insulating properties are preserved.
The inner layer of the insulation is heat-resistant up to 110 °C. With a maximum thermal conductivity of 0.043 W/mK, the insulation has a high insulation value. This helps limit heat transfer and contributes to the efficient operation of connected air conditioning and cooling systems.
The cable complies with EN 13501-1 and has fire class BL-s1-d0. The different cable sizes are easy to identify by the color of the protective caps: black for the 1/4" cable and blue for the 1/2" cable. This allows for quick and organized work during installation.
