The pipes are manufactured from high-quality, flexible copper and feature a constant wall thickness. The 3/8" pipe has a wall thickness of 0.8 mm and the 3/4" pipe has a wall thickness of 1.0 mm. This makes the pipes sturdy and reliable, while ensuring they are easy to handle and bend during installation.
Both copper pipes are equipped with high-quality PE insulation. The insulation thickness is 9 mm for the 3/8" pipe and 10 mm for the 3/4" pipe. The insulation consists of two layers of resilient PE sheath with a closed cell structure on the inside and outside. This construction ensures a high insulation value and helps to limit condensation around the pipes.
The insulation features a hard, white outer wall that provides extra protection during transport, handling, and installation. Despite the sturdy exterior, the copper pipe remains highly flexible. The insulation is designed to bend without quickly forming creases, thus maintaining its insulating properties.
The inner layer of the insulation is heat-resistant up to 110 °C. With a maximum thermal conductivity of 0.043 W/mK, the insulation material has a high insulation value. This helps limit heat transfer and contributes to the efficient operation of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
The copper cable complies with EN 12735. The different cable sizes are easy to identify by the color of the protective caps. The 3/8" cable has a red protective cap and the 3/4" cable has a green protective cap. This allows the cables to be quickly and clearly distinguished from each other during installation.
