The Fieldpiece Instruments Job Link Charge Kit FPI-8801-000 , with OEM model JL3KR4 , is a wireless measurement kit for refrigeration technicians. The kit combines a pressure probe with a temperature hose clamp probe to perform measurements on refrigeration systems.

Wireless pressure measurement

The included Job Link JL3PR pressure probe measures pressures from 0 to 4000 kPa, with a specified best accuracy of ±7 kPa. The probe features a 45° connection with a 1/4-inch NPT female thread and is designed to protection class IP55.

Temperature measurement with hose clamp sensor

The Job Link Premium hose clamp probe JL3PC is suitable for electrically conductive pipes with a diameter of 6.4 to 34.9 mm. The probe measures temperatures from -46 °C to +125 °C, with a specified accuracy of ±0.6 °C. The typical stabilization time is three seconds. An audible signal and LED indicator provide measurement feedback.

Wireless connection and ease of use

The measurement set has a wireless range of up to 305 meters in line of sight and operates on the 2.4GHz frequency. The probes use two included AAA batteries and have a typical operating time of 150 hours with alkaline batteries. The automatic shutdown after two hours can be deactivated.

The set is intended for use with compatible mobile devices with BLE 4.0, iOS 7.0 or higher, or Android 5.0 or higher. This allows refrigeration technicians to wirelessly read measurement data within the Job Link system.
