Maintenance instructions for our machines and cooling units

Our machines and cooling units require regular maintenance to operate optimally and to preserve the warranty. Cooling units must be installed correctly, defrosted regularly, and cleaned. Stainless steel products also need care: clean them regularly, protect cutting surfaces, use trivets for hot pans, and avoid contact with strong chemicals. This ensures the equipment remains in top condition and lasts longer.
General Maintenance
Our machines require regular maintenance. It is recommended to assign one employee responsible for upkeep. Regular cleaning and inspection of the products are essential to ensure eligibility for warranty. During maintenance, the machine should always be unplugged.
Placement of the Cooling Unit
When placing the cooling unit, it is important that it is not positioned too close to a heat source or in a warm room. Do not place the unit near open doors or in the draft of a cooling or ventilation system. Ensure there is sufficient space around the exhaust grille for optimal ventilation of the cooling components.
Maintenance of the Cooling Unit
Regular maintenance of the cooling unit prolongs its lifespan and preserves its technical properties. Cooling units must be defrosted regularly. If a large amount of ice appears on the unit, this can reduce cooling efficiency as the cooling elements become insulated. The unit then has to work harder to cool the interior. After defrosting, clean the unit with a mixture of water and one tablespoon of baking soda and allow it to dry completely. The cooling elements can then be coated with glycerine to keep them in optimal condition.
Maintenance of Stainless Steel
Our stainless steel products are carefully manufactured. Despite the material’s durability, stainless steel requires regular maintenance and care. Upon receiving the product, check for any damage and report it immediately to the supplier. Always keep the packaging in case of future damage.
Stainless steel is easy to clean. Regular cleaning with water and a mild detergent prevents dirt from adhering to the surface and causing stains. Stubborn stains, such as those from coffee or tea, can be removed with a liquid detergent. Do not use abrasive products and rinse thoroughly with warm water after cleaning. Dry the surface thoroughly.
Small cutting marks may be visible on stainless steel. For frequent cutting and chopping, it is advisable to use a cutting board. Use trivets for hot pans directly from the stove to prevent bluish-brown discoloration. Stainless steel is resistant to most household chemicals, but direct contact with strong acids or thinners should be avoided. If the surface comes into contact with a strong chemical, rinse immediately with water.
