For added safety, the faucet is equipped with a safeguard that forcibly stops the water flow after a maximum of 1 minute to prevent spillage or flooding. When operating on batteries, a flashing LED light warns you in good time when the batteries (lifetime approx. 2-3 years) need replacing.
