This professional infrared leak detector has been developed for detecting refrigerant leaks in refrigeration and air conditioning systems. The device detects HFCs, HCFCs, CFCs, HFOs, and various refrigerant mixtures. Thanks to the infrared sensor and fast response time of less than one second, leaks can be efficiently located.

The sensitivity is adjustable to high, medium, low, or turbo. The maximum sensitivity is 1 gram per year when the detector is kept stationary and 3 grams per year when it is moved. After a detection, the recovery time is less than five seconds.

A leak is indicated via the red LED in the sensor tip, the LCD bar graph, the numerical LCD display, and an acoustic signal. This provides the user with clear visual and audible feedback during the search. The infrared sensor has an average lifespan of approximately ten years.

The integrated battery provides an average of ten hours of use when the backlight is switched off. Charging takes approximately six hours with the included charger. After ten minutes without detection or operation, the device switches off automatically. The housing is designed to IP54 standards for extra protection during professional use.
