This professional thermometer combines an infrared meter and a fold-out probe in one compact instrument. The infrared function allows for contactless measurement of surface temperature. The probe is suitable for checking the core temperature of food and other products.

The infrared measurement has a range of -49.9 to 349.9 °C. The probe measures temperatures from -49.9 to 299.9 °C. This allows the thermometer to be used for various temperature checks in professional kitchens, food production, storage, receiving inspection, and HACCP operations.

The patented display rotates automatically 360 degrees. As a result, the measurement remains clearly readable, regardless of the position in which the thermometer is held. The resolution can be set by the user to 0.1 or 1 °C/°F.

The emissivity is set to 0.95 by default and can be adjusted from 0.10 to 1.00. This allows the infrared measurement to be more accurately tuned to various materials and surfaces. The target ratio of 5:1 indicates which surface is measured from a specific measuring distance.

The probe features a motion-sensitive sleep mode that helps limit energy consumption. Two CR2032 lithium batteries provide a lifespan of up to 1,000 hours with continuous use.

The thermometer comes free of charge with a traceable certificate of calibration for both the infrared function and the probe. Additionally, the device complies with the European standard EN 13485.
