The exterminator has 2 x 7 watt UV fluorescent tubes that attract flies and other insects, after which they end up in a collection container that you can easily empty, so that the environment remains hygienically clean. For optimum performance, the lamps should be replaced every 6 months. Spare lamps are available separately (P191).

You can attach the insect killer to the ceiling with the supplied chains or place it on a sturdy surface, such as a plank.
