This compact thermometer combines contactless infrared measurement with a fold-out rod probe. This allows a single instrument to be used to monitor both surface and contact temperatures. Its pocket size makes the thermometer suitable for HVACR technicians, maintenance engineers, and professional temperature checks.

The infrared function has a measuring range of -30 to 500 °C and a fast response time of 0.5 seconds. With an optical ratio of 8:1, the thermometer measures a measuring surface with a diameter of approximately one unit at a distance of eight units. The constant emissivity is 0.95.

The 94 mm long rod probe has a measuring range of -40 to 125 °C. The best resolution is 0.1 °C and the response time is approximately twenty seconds. In T1-T2 mode, the two measured values can be compared.

The thermometer is supplied with two installed AAA batteries. The operating time is approximately 40 hours for infrared measurements and up to 750 hours when using the rod probe. The instrument switches off automatically after three minutes. In T1-T2 mode, this happens after fifteen minutes.
